Welcome to Studebaker Counseling LLC!
I’m so glad you’re here.
Katelyn Studebaker, LPCC
Hello! I am a clinical mental health therapist dedicated to helping adults, teens, and children (ages 6+) navigate life’s challenges with support, care, and practical tools. Intensively trained in Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), I specialize in helping clients develop emotional regulation skills, improve relationships, and build a life that feels fulfilling and meaningful.
My approach is warm, down-to-earth, and flexible—I meet clients where they are with authenticity and a sense of humor. Therapy doesn’t have to feel stiff or clinical; I believe that real growth happens when people feel comfortable being themselves. Whether you’re facing anxiety, depression, life transitions, or simply need a space to be heard, I offer a laid-back, supportive environment where you can where you can explore, heal, and grow.
If you’re struggling with self-esteem, boundaries, complex trauma, infertility, or major life transitions, I can help. I also work with body image concerns, self-harm, neurodivergence, and school refusal—creating a safe space to explore these challenges with support and care. I incorporate expressive art, play, creative writing, mindfulness and meditation, grounding and sensory awareness techniques, and more. I pride myself on exploring a variety of evidence based, research-backed interventions to help clients meet their goals.
Lastly, I am passionate about being a culturally competent provider. I am a fierce ally to the LGBTQIA+ community as well as BIPOC communities. I am spiritually open-minded, affirming of all lifestyles and identities, and always open to learning and being challenged.
I’d be honored to support you on your therapy journey. Let’s connect—email me to schedule a free 15-minute consultation and see if we’re a good fit!
