Katelyn Studebaker, LPCC

Do you or your child experience a lot of "big feelings?" Maybe you live with anxiety, depression, trauma, ADHD, Autism, or maybe you're going through a big life transition. If that sounds like you, I could be a good fit. I've been in the mental health field for 10 years, working with kids (ages 6+), teens, adults, and families from many backgrounds. I am a warm and welcoming, laid back therapist who believes that therapy can be a fun and uplifting process. I will assign homework, ask you to try new things, and I'll strive to be creative and flexible in our work together.

I am intensively trained in Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT). This means that mindfulness is a part of everything I do. I believe in helping people learn and practice skills to be effective. We'll work on things like breathing exercises, grounding techniques, communication skills, and coping skills.

We can use all kinds of strategies to help conversation flow. Some folks enjoy games, arts and crafts, creative writing, or bringing a family member or loved one to help explain what's happening in your life. To get started with me, please send an email.
